Le Mississippi is a restaurant at the end of the Port nature building (close to the sea) and is considered by many to be the best place to eat in the resort.

Le Mississippi is arguably one of the best places to eat inside the naturist resort and on a typical day, you will have to patiently wait to be seated when a spare table becomes available, because of the popularity of this specific restaurant.

Le Mississippi offers a good variety of food although the specialty is its fresh seafood. The location of the restaurant with its beach views also makes it a popular choice.

We have eaten in Le Mississippi at the end of the Port Nature building (just across from Johnny Wokkers – hence why we have a drink in Johhny’s first and then grab a table in the restaurant afterward).

One of the great things about Le Mississippi in Cap d’Agde is that you are eating in the open air and with views of the beach.

The food itself also tends to be as good as you will find in any restaurant the resort and prices are very reasonable.

Best restaurant in the resort. Great service and the best seafood and real close to the beach.

Do get there early if you want to avoid queuing or even better, I recommend booking, especially for weekends.

You do not need to speak French but i recommend at least trying 2 or 3 words as you are in France after all.

You might not come to Cap d’Agde with food in mind given the nature of the resort but there are some great restaurants here. We also love Le Ghymnos.

I’ve been coming to eat in Le Missippi for over 12 years now and the food is always fantastic each and every time.

I always go for the mussels which come in a large plate and are as fresh as can be.

This is not the cheapest restaurant but it is NOT significantly more expensive so I highly recommend to eat in Le Mississippi at least once if you are visiting the resort.

Also just opposite is the 02 BIzoux bar and that has a lovely terrace so it’s a great place to sit, have a glass or pitcher of wine and to watch people as they come back from the beach, after or if needed before you eat in Le Mississippi.
