Sunbed Hire Options and Cost

Renting a sunbed, deck or beach chair and umbrella is certainly possible on the beach at Cap d’Agde.

There are 4 main vendors who offer beach chairs and umbrella rentals on the naturist beach in Cap d’Agde, although it is not cheap.

Expect to pay roughly EUR20 to 30 a day and often with no discount for a week’s rental.

One of the sunbed rental areas on Cap d’Agde beach is at the Paralia Sun Beach Bar where they have around 40 chairs already set up and that you can rent.

You can also buy food and drinks from Pa Paralia and have it delivered to your sunbed!

Sunbed Considerations

One thing to consider is that if you do pay for one week upfront, will you be able to get any money back if any days are rained off and the beach is not practical?

Discuss this before paying the vendor or pay per day.

The benefits though of paying for a full week upfront are that you will normally get allocated a better position i.e. closer to the water’s edge.

An excellent option if you are staying for a week or more is to buy your own deck chair or sunbed and just use the beach as you wish.

This way you will avoid any extra charges beyond the cost of buying a chair (and which you could easily give to someone else when you leave).

It is a free beach and if you buy two cheap sunbeds or deck chairs from one of the shops inside the resort you will be better off cost-wise.

Buying Your Own Sunbed from the Green Bazaar

Another great option if you are staying for more than a week is to simply buy your own beach items i.e. sunbed.

The Green Bazaar store in the Heliopolis building is an excellent and affordable place to buy your own gear.

• and tonnes of other stuff such as beach towels and anything you will need for the beach.
